Early detection of local inbred of rice from Aceh to drought stressusing PEG 6000

Abstract This research was aimed to evaluate 7 local inbreds of rice from Aceh for their tolerance against drought stress through detection in early development. The study employed a complet ely Randomized Design (CRD) Factorial comprising 2 factors: 1) inbred Unsyiah Cakep (G1), Seumeulu (G2) and Mantap (G3), Sigunca (G4), Sigupai (G5), Cot Bada (G6), Rajasa (G7) (2) different concentrations PEG 0, 20 25%. results revealed that all variables contributed the level stress. Local possessed longer roots than her inbred. Laboratory assessment showed there were 6 tolerant stress, such as Cakep, Seumelu, Mantap, Sigupai, Rajasa. Also, we found susceptible inbred, Sigunca, with application 6000 concentration 20%.
